If you wish to join I REM, you must be at least 18 years of age. The minimum age is eighteen years. In addition, you must have a job or be engaged in another employment where you meet these requirements. You must also meet the following minimum qualifications, which may vary among I REM property management schools. There may be additional I REM qualification requirements that are different from I REM property management schools.
I REM requires you to have a basic understanding of the law related to land management and how it affects you as a tenant. This knowledge is necessary if you are intending to become a property manager.
I REM requires that you obtain a valid certificate or license of completion of an approved I REM training program prior to enrolling in one of their me REM property management courses. You will be provided with instructions on the training program you must take. The I REM training program is designed for both the new I REM property manager as well as the seasoned property manager. It consists of six courses.
If you are currently employed and planning to become a property manager, I REM provides you with a Certificate of Completion (COC) in I REM Training for Property Managers. To complete this certificate, you will need to provide your employer with a letter of interest and salary history. In addition, you will need to provide proof of the I REM certification course that you have completed. In order to complete the certificate, you will also be required to take an internship program.
To complete the I REM Property Management Course, you must have an internship. Internship programs can be completed in person or online. In most cases, online programs are more convenient for people who work full-time. Once you have completed the I REM training program and obtained your I REM Certificate of Completion, you must wait for the I REM property manager exam to become a licensed professional real estate manager.
I REM training courses for property managers may be taken in any number of I REM property management schools and training centers. If the I REM certification is received from a school or I REM property management center, your I REM certificate will include a copy of your I REM Property Management Association (PMA) card. This card is issued to the real estate agent or manager upon receipt. In addition, you will receive a detailed outline of I REM courses and information on the process for taking the test. The PMA card should be sent to you via e-mail.
I REM courses can also be taken through the Internet and are often offered by I REM property management schools. These online courses are usually offered at no cost. Online programs are convenient for those who do not have time to attend regular school.
The fee that is charged for I REM membership is $15 per semester. Most of the courses that are provided by I REM include general education courses such as accounting, business management, human resources and legal management. As a member of I REM, you will also receive an EFRBS account that is beneficial when you start a real estate investment business. Your EFRBS account can be used as an asset in case of a foreclosure or as a liability in case you want to take out a loan against it.
If you have a job, you can still access the courses that you need through I REM. There are some courses that you can take in the comfort of your home, but you will still need to be at work for a period of time. In addition, you can take the classes at any of the I REM property management schools and training centers, including the I REM website.
When you become a member of I REM, you will receive a one-year access pass for unlimited courses at I REM. When you complete the online courses, you will be given the same one-year pass you are already familiar with. Once you have completed the course and have received your EFRBS account, you will have immediate access to your account. You will not have to wait until you have paid the membership fees to obtain a new pass. You will not be required to pay for additional courses if you wish to upgrade.
